Community: Santa Ana WORK Center Invites Residents to Participate in Upcoming Bridges to Engineering Program
SANTA ANA, CA (July 25, 2012) – The Santa Ana WORK Center, in partnership with Santa Ana College, is looking for local residents to participate in its Bridges to Engineering program. The program integrates an accelerated math component into a pre-engineering curriculum designed to assist students to transfer into articulated engineering pathways that exist within the California State University and University of California systems.
Additional assistance includes tutoring, specialized counseling, mentoring support, research opportunities, and paid internship opportunities. The program is targeting long-term unemployed individuals and veterans. Instruction will take place at Santa Ana College.
