REP. SANCHEZ TO OFFER COLLEGE FINANCIAL AID WORKSHOPS ACROSS ORANGE COUNTY

Garden Grove, Calif. – Beginning Thursday, January 16, 2014, the office of Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez (CA-46) will offer a series of free college financial aid workshops at six high schools across Orange County. Academic advisors and college representatives will provide students and parents with information about the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) process and other scholarship opportunities.

“Education is synonymous with opportunity and I believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, work hard and succeed in our society,” said Rep. Sanchez. “Unfortunately, the cost of college often stands between a bright young high school student and their chance at success. That is why I make it a priority to connect Orange County students to resources that make college affordable, including scholarships and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form.”

No registration is necessary. For more information, please contact Beatriz Fernández in Rep. Sanchez’s Garden Grove office at (714) 621-0102.
