Public meeting about a new townhome development in Santa Ana set for March 12

A developer, the Ventus Group, is proposing to construct 30 new townhomes in a 1.329 acre site at 501 South Harbor Boulevard, in Santa Ana.

The developer is hosting their first city-mandated Sunshine Ordinance Meeting on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at Russel Elementary School, located at 600 S. Jackson Street, Santa Ana CA, 92704.

Each town home will have a two car garage, four bedrooms, living area, kitchen, laundry room, and private balconies.

Ten town homes will be 3,908 sq. ft., five town homes will be 4,275 sq. ft. and the remaining fifteen town homes will be 4,265 sq. ft.

The project is ministerial and requires administrative approval of the Development Project Review (DP). A ministerial permit is a permit that is granted based upon determinations that the proposed project complies with established standards set forth in local Zoning Ordinances.
