Power pole fire results in power outage and signal blackouts in South Santa Ana

SCE has reported a power outage affecting several hundred homes near S. Bristol Street and W. MacArthur Boulevard due to a power pole fire. Power is expected to be restored by 11:30 p.m. tonight, December 20.

This outage has caused some traffic signal blackouts on Bristol at Central Avenue, Hemlock Way and Segerstrom Avenue. We recommend avoiding the area if possible.
