Plaza Navideña event to include Santa Ana’s best tamale contest on 12/12

Community Alert: SANTA ANA’S BEST TAMALE CONTEST / CONCURSO ANNUAL DEL MEJOR TAMAL EN SANTA ANA

The City of Santa Ana will be holding its Third Annual Plaza Navideña event on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at the Downtown Plaza Calle Cuatro on the corner of Fourth and French Streets. The event will take place from 5:00pm-8:00pm and will feature the Santa Ana’s Best Tamale contest. All licensed restaurants located within the city are invited to compete!

To participate, download the application at http://santa-ana.org/parks/upcomingevents/default.asp. Fill out the application and email it to Patty Lopez at plopez@santa-ana.org or hand-deliver it to the Santa Ana Public Library, attention Patty Lopez. Applications will be accepted from Monday, October 12, 2015 through Tuesday, November 13, 2015. The tamale tasting will take place during the Plaza Navideña event on Saturday, December 12, 2015 where the Winner and Honorable Mentions will be selected.

SEGUNDO CONCURSO ANNUAL DEL MEJOR TAMAL EN SANTA ANA

La Ciudad de Santa Ana celebrará su Tercer Festival Anual de Plaza Navideña el sábado, 12 de diciembre de 2015 en el Downtown Plaza Calle Cuatro situado en la esquina de las calles Cuatro y French. El evento se llevará a cabo entre las 5:00pm y 8:00pm y se presentará el concurso del Mejor Tamal de Santa Ana. ¡Se invitan a competir todos los restaurantes autorizados con licencia ubicados dentro de la ciudad!

Para participar, descargue una solicitud del sitio web http://santaana.org/parks/upcomingevents/default.asp.
Complete la aplicación en su totalidad y envíela a Patty López al siguiente correo electrónico plopez@santa-ana.org o entréguela manualmente a la Biblioteca Pública de Santa Ana, atención Patty López. Las aplicaciones se aceptarán a partir del lunes, 12 de octubre de 2015 hasta el martes, 13 de noviembre de 2015. Los tamales se saborearán y el Ganador y Las Menciones Honoríficas se seleccionarán durante el evento de Plaza Navideña el sábado, 12 de diciembre de 2015.
