Older Adults Fair and Senior Art Sale set for Oct. 1 at Birch Park

Community: INTERNATIONAL OLDER ADULTS FAIR AT SANTA ANA’S HISTORIC BIRCH PARK / FERIA INTERNACIONAL DE LOS ADULTOS MAYORES

SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA – On Sunday, October 1, 2017, the SASC Senior Club and Downtown Neighborhood Association will host an older adult outreach event for the entire community. The 2nd Annual International Older Adults Fair and Senior Art Sale will take place at Birch Park/SASC. All proceeds from the Art Sale will go to the Senior Board fundraiser to help build a permanent restroom and a fence to preserve the historical Birch Park.

The Older Adults Fair will kick off with performances by Santa Ana and Southwest senior center participants. There will be music, food, prizes, health screenings, information booths, a senior art sale booth and much more! All senior event participants will have great time in the fair and will receive prizes for participating. Local companies have contributed exciting prizes to opportunity drawings. If you are a senior (60+), be sure to visit the registration booth to receive your event bag of goodies, free lunch wrist band a nd free raffle ticket.

Birch Park is located at 400 W. 3rd Street, on the corner of Third and Ross Streets, in Santa Ana. The fair will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. Bring your parents and grandparents to enjoy this wonderful event!

SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA – El Domingo 1ro de Octubre, 2017, el Senior Club de SASC y la Asociación de Barrio Downtown llevaran a cabo un evento para los adultos mayores de la comunidad. La 2da Feria Anual Para Adultos Mayores y Venta de Arte de adultos mayores se llevara a cabo en el parque Birch/SASC. Las ganancias de la venta se destinaran a la recaudación de fondos del Consejo de Adultos Mayores (Senior Board) para ayudar a construir un baño permanente y una valla para preservar el histórico parque Birch.

La Feria de adultos mayores dará inicio con la actuación de participantes de los centros de ancianos Santa Ana y Southwest. ¡Habrá música, comida, premios, exámenes de salud, puestos de información, una venta de arte y mucho más! Todos los ancianos asistentes disfrutaran del evento y recibirán premios por participar. Empresas locales han donado fabulosos premios para las rifas. Si es usted un adulto mayor (60+), asegúrese de visitar la mesa de registro para recibir su bolsa del evento, su pulsera para almuerzo gratis y su boleto gratis para la rifa.

El parque Birch está localizado en el 400 W. 3rd Street, en la esquina de calles Tercera y Ross, en Santa Ana. La feria empezara a las 10:00 a.m. ¡Traiga a sus padres y abuelos a disfrutar este magnífico evento!
