OCTA bus driver hiring event set for April 26 in Garden Grove

OC Workforce Solutions is hosting a hiring event at OCTA (Orange County Transportation Authority) on Wednesday April 26, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at OC Workforce Solutions Center, located at 7077 Orangewood Ave #200, in Garden Grove.

The OCTA is looking for bus drivers. Here are the job requirements:

  • 1 year of customer service
  • Over 21 years old
  • Class C driver’s license for at least 3 years
  • Clean driving record for over 3 years
  • Written and verbal English fluency
  • Must pass a background check and drug tests

Compensation is $21.51 per hour as of May 1, 2023. $3,000 sign-on bonus for at least one year of work. Full time benefits include Medical, Dental and Vision as well as Retirement and Tuition Reimbursement.
