“Come & Get It” at the 2013 OC Fair (July 12-August 11)
Annual Summer Celebration Features Food, Concerts, Entertainment, Exhibits and Endless Summer Fun
Costa Mesa, Calif. (February 13, 2013) – The OC Fair is ringing the dinner bell and inviting Fairgoers to “Come & Get It” this summer with food, fun, entertainment, exhibits, rides and more July 12-August 11, 2013.
The 23-day tradition, themed “Come & Get It” in 2013, will entice Fairgoers to get their fill of giant turkey legs, sweet funnel cakes, fluffy cotton candy, roasted corn and tons of other tasty options on a stick, from the BBQ or deep-fried. Foodies can also build up their culinary skills with food-related contests, competitions and demonstrations offered throughout the run of the 2013 OC Fair.
Food won’t be the only thing the OC Fair invites attendees to get in 2013. Fairgoers will be called on to enjoy 23 nights of music, entertainment and action sports in the Pacific Amphitheatre, The Hangar and Action Sports Arena. As always, concert and action sports tickets include free Fair admission for before and after the show. Fairgoers are also invited to get their fill of art and craftsmanship by perusing the OC Fair’s various exhibit halls displaying hundreds of award-winning paintings, photographs, quilts, cakes, floral arrangements, woodworking, jewelry and more competitive entries from hundreds of talented Southern California locals.
Topping off the tantalizing summer offerings, the OC Fair will feature thrilling rides, challenging games and furry and fuzzy livestock for the young in age and in heart.
To make its invite even more irresistible, the OC Fair will serve up a variety of promotional discounts on admission, food and fun so Fairgoers can enjoy all the joys of this summer’s celebration with less strain on their wallets. The first discount avid Fairgoers can take advantage of are discounted pre-sale prices on the popular Super Pass (23-day season pass) available for purchase now either online at ocfair.com or from the onsite Box Office (open limited days and hours).
The 2013 OC Fair is July 12-August 11 and is open Wednesday-Friday from Noon-Midnight and Saturday-Sunday from 10 a.m.-Midnight. The Fair is closed Monday and Tuesday. Single-day general admission is $11 for adults, $8 for seniors (60 and older), $6 for youth (ages 6-12) and free for children 5 and younger. The Super Pass offers 23 days of admission for the pass holder, express entry at the Fair gates, discounts on select concerts and shows and a carnival coupon book and is $35 for adults, $30 for seniors (60 and older) and $25 for youth (6-12). Parking is $7.
Concert tickets, action sports reserved seats, single-day general admission and Super Pass are available for purchase from any Ticketmaster outlet (in-store or Ticketmaster.com) or from the on-site Box Office at the Pacific Amphitheatre.
