O.C. Goodwill hosts a Future Business Owners Program orientation

START YOUR OWN BUSINESS! Open Enrollment for Small Business Development Classes Starting NOW!

Goodwill of Orange County is excited to announce the addition of a new tract to our existing Microenterprise Development Program, the Future Business Owners Program (FBOP).

The FBOP will conduct 15 workshops which will cover how to plan for, launch, and operate a small business. These workshops will help you identify and refine your business idea, develop marketing materials, become familiar with small business legal requirements, and create an informative and well thought out business plan.

This course will be offered for FREE for individuals meeting income or social qualifications! Interested participants must meet the following criteria: 1. Be at least 18 years of age 2. Have the right to work in the U.S. 3. Be a resident of Orange County 4. Be enrolled in the Selective Service (Men born after 1960 ONLY) 5. Be income eligible for FREE Scholarships to the courses.

  • I had no idea that Goodwill was involved in such projects. I will look into this more, but this is a pleasant surprise and most needed by those who probably donate the most: small business owners.
