Nighttime closure planned for a Section of the 55 Fwy. on April 26-27 due to power line installations

Southern California Edison (SCE) is scheduled to install new power lines across all lanes of SR-55.
This work will require a full closure of northbound and southbound SR-55 between Edinger Avenue and Dyer Road, according to the 55 Freeway Project.

In addition, the following ramps, connectors, and street will be closed:

  • Southbound Dyer Road off-ramps
  • Northbound Dyer Road on-ramps
  • Southbound Edinger Avenue on-ramp
  • Southbound McFadden Avenue on-ramp
  • Southbound I-5 to southbound SR-55 HOV connector
  • Southbound I-405 to northbound SR-55 HOV connector
  • Westbound Warner Avenue over SR-55

Northbound and southbound SR-55 as early as 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly, Friday, April 26 and Saturday, April 27. Crews may need to return the following weekend to complete the work.

This work may be loud. The schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather or unforeseen operational issues.

Este trabajo requerirá un cierre completo de la SR-55 en dirección norte y sur entre Edinger Avenue y Dyer Road. Además, se cerrarán las siguientes rampas, conectores, y calle:

  • Rampas de salida de Dyer Road desde la SR-55 en dirección sur
  • Rampas de entrada a Dyer Road hacia la SR-55 en dirección norte
  • Rampa de entrada de Edinger Avenue hacia la SR-55 en dirección sur

  • Conector HOV de la I-5 en dirección sur a la SR-55 en dirección sur
  • Conector HOV de la I-405 en dirección sur a la SR-55 en dirección norte
  • Warner Avenue en dirección oeste sobre la SR-55

CUANDO:

SR-55 en dirección norte y sur desde las 10 p.m. hasta las 5 a.m. todas las noches, el viernes 26 de abril y el sábado 27 de abril. Es posible que las cuadrillas deban regresar el fin de semana siguiente para completar el trabajo.
