One-of-a-Kind Social Golf Experience Opening Doors in Santa Ana
A new golf facility unlike anything seen before is opening its doors to the public via an open house at 208 N. Broadway in downtown Santa Ana from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, May 6.
The NextLinks facility promises real indoor golf in a fun, entertaining and social environment for golfers and non-golfers.
“We are opening the doors to our golf development laboratory and showcasing our future products,” NextLinks founder Dave Shultz said. “This will be golf’s version of the Willy Wonka Factory.”
The state-of-the-art facility has undergone a half million dollars in renovations over the last five weeks.
The complete golf experience is accomplished with a high-tech golf simulator and a real-life putting area.
“You can hit your tee box and fairway shots at golf courses around the world using the simulator, then finish out your holes on our indoor putting green,” founder Dave Shultz said.
The idea is similar to Shultz’s REALiTEE Golf, a two acre social golf complex that will also house a full restaurant and large sports bar. The complex is under development in partnership with the Lummi Nation Indian Tribe at Silver Reef Hotel Casino and Spa in Ferndale, Washington.
“Golf needs a way of becoming more relevant to the next generation,” Shultz said. “With this physical venue, the light bulb is going to turn on for a lot more people.”
The open house coincides with the popular Santa Ana Artwalk.
