Men can’t speak at a comedy and dating show coming to Santa Ana on Nov. 8

Allison Goldberg, a comedian and creator whose work has been covered by LA Magazine, Good Morning America, and more, is bringing her Comedy/Dating show “Love Isn’t Blind” to Santa Ana on Nov. 8, at the Stages Bar, located at 604 East Dyer Road. Come as early as 6:30 p.m. to drink & mingle. The show starts at 8 p.m., and Stages said theycan keep the after-party going as long as y’all keep eating & drinking.

Allison Goldbergs Love Isnt Blind

Tired of swiping? In this wild dating experiment, men compete on stage for one lucky bachelorette, with the little caveat that the men can’t speak! Through a series of games – which includes calling the boys’ moms and unlocking their phones – we narrow it down to two men. Finally, we hear their voices, and the lucky winning man is sent with our bachelorette to the bar for an immediate date.

Audience members wear wristbands according to their relationship status, and a wingcouple (who wear actual wings) helps those of you who are too shy to make a move. This show has been featured in LA Magazine, LAist, Thrillist, Time Out LA, CBS, and more.

The above clip is one of Allison’s most popular, with 1M+ views.

This is the first time that Allison has brought her show to Orange County and she wants to encourage our readers to apply to be contestants.

People are absolutely meeting at the shows across cities; they even have an engagement! Allison also tries to make the atmosphere as inclusive as possible. People get wristbands when they enter based on their relationship status (e.g. red for taken, green for single) and then can also double up with bisexual blue, a rainbow pride wristband, and they have poly purple as well.
