Andrew Phillip Gonzalez, a 32-year-old man, was charged on Wednesday with shooting two other men at a bar in Downtown Orange.
Gonzalez is facing felony charges of two counts of attempted murder, two counts of assault with a firearm, a count of armed criminal action and a count of carrying a loaded unregistered gun in public.
He also will be dealing with sentencing enhancements for firing a gun and inflicting great bodily injury on the victims.
Early on the morning of Jan. 13, just after midnight, police officers patrolling in Downtown Orange heard gunshots and responded to a bar located in the 200 block of W. Chapman Avenue, according to the Orange Police Department.
In the parking lot, officers located two male adult victims suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound. Both victims were transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
During the investigation, a male adult suspect, Gonzalez, was located in the area and in possession of a handgun.
There are three bars/restaurants in the area of the shooting including Bosscat, Finney’s Crafthouse and Paul’s Cocktails. The District Lounge is also located a couple blocks to the West of the area of the shooting.
Gonzalez was arrested and booked at Orange County Jail. Gonzalez was wearing various Mongols Motorcycle Club apparel, according to County News.
