An unusual assault was recorded on video, at around 11:15 a.m. this Thursday at W. First and Euclid streets, according to the SAPD.
The video footage, which was posted by a witness to the Citizen app, showed a man repeatedly punching and kicking another man, who was on the ground, as vehicles zoomed by around them.
Several witnesses called 911 to report that two men were fighting, but by the time the police officers arrived both of the men were long gone.
The police investigators have no idea what may have led to the assault.
Further details on the incident are not available.
Was it road rage? Meth rage? No one knows for sure – yet.
Anyone with information about the two men is asked to contact the SAPD at (714) 245-8665.

I cannot believe the misspell in this article. I never encountered such an egregious misspell in elementary school in the 60’s. This is coming from a journalist!!
“Was it road rage? Meth rage? No one knoes for sure – yet.“
Plus the writing in this sentence is so colloquial.
LOL. Good catch.
