MainPlace taps O.C. expert Patrice Conover for Marketing Director position

SANTA ANA, Calif. – July 17, 2023 – MainPlace, a three-story super-regional shopping center in Santa Ana, California, announced today the appointment of Patrice Conover to the position of Marketing Director for the shopping center. Having previously worked in marketing and engagement positions at Providence St. Joseph Health, Washington Prime Group (owner of Westminster Mall and the Malibu Lumber Yard Shopping Center), and computer products distributor Ingram Micro, Conover brings with her more than three decades of experience in developing and executing marketing strategies for fast-growing businesses. For MainPlace, in addition to communicating key aspects of the center’s ongoing expansive redevelopment, she will lead the shopping center’s marketing and brand strategy, supporting traffic- and sales-building programs and initiatives and executing regular events that position the center as an exciting Orange County retail, dining and entertainment destination.

“Like several of Centennial’s properties across the nation, MainPlace is experiencing tremendous growth and expansion as it transforms from a traditional shopping center into an important mixed-use destination,” says Ashley Kravitz, Regional Director, National Marketing for Centennial, owner of MainPlace. “Earlier this year, Centennial announced 34 internal promotions with dozens more to be filled with outside talent like Patrice. Today, we are excited to announce Patrice as our newest addition and look forward to the tremendous work she will do in helping MainPlace grow its market presence and dominance throughout Orange County.”

“There couldn’t be a more exciting time to join MainPlace and the Centennial team,” says Conover. “The redevelopment taking place at MainPlace is truly transformational. The changes may have begun with a focus on adding luxury apartments, but that is just the beginning of what is to come. I am delighted to have joined such a vibrant and creative team of retail and marketing professionals and look forward to helping share the innovative changes taking place at MainPlace with the local Santa Ana and tourist communities that enjoy all it has to offer.”

In 2022, Centennial announced it had broken ground on the residential phase of the transformative redevelopment taking place at MainPlace. The new construction includes Paloma, a vibrant and modern apartment complex with a wealth of top-of-the-line amenities that will transform this iconic Southern California shopping center into one of the West Coast’s most dynamic and desirable master-planned live-work-play community destinations.
