  • The Artwalk is called "The Santa Ana Artwalk" which is not to be confused with the "Santiago Arts District Art Walk". Downtown Inc. is but one sponsor/advertiser.

  • Inside the Santora building basement will be a live D.J. , then Echo Sparks and closing out with the Oaxacan Kings!

  • Some Downtown non-artist village businesses believe that their property taxes were raised to pay for marketing of the Art walk and Artists Village businesses. That is one of the reasons why a lot of independent artists in the village do not like their scene to be mistakenly considered a product of Downtown Inc.

    • Mateo,

Downtown Inc. markets the downtown, which your pals ought to appreciate. But if they rather stew in negativity, that is their right.

    • John,

Downtown Inc is just trying to help the Artists Village. It is sad that a few of the artists would rather grouse about how Downtown Inc is funded rather than appreciate the support they are getting.

  • The comments are mine, not my friends. There is nothing negative about them. Responsibility to fairness, truth, economic access and economic freedom is all positive and proactive. It is about preserving our future. It is about protection from the corrupting influence of big money!

  • Admin. Please do the citizens of Santa Ana a favor. Kick your article back up to the featured posts for the home page. This article is about the biggest cutural event to happen in Santa Ana this weekend. Is it not?

  • I am pleased to see that downtown inc is promoting local musicians now..instead of out of county musicians as they have in the past.
For once I agree with Art on this one.

  • Newsantaana, is still free speech! And America lives another day! Compromise what you must, but never surrender! P.S. Who slipped "Artist at the village" some Prozac?
