Learn more about the County’s homeless shelter in Santa Ana in a virtual meeting on 7/23

The Yale Navigation Center opened in June 2022 as a 24-hour shelter that is operated by the County of Orange in Santa Ana. Many local residents opposed the opening of this homeless shelter. The Yale Navigation Center team will be hosting a Virtual Community Meeting. on Tuesday, 7/23/24 at 4:00 p.m.

This virtual community meeting will review the structure of their organization, the services provided at the Yale Navigation Center, and their implemented Good Neighbor Policy.

Wrap-around services at the Yale Navigation Center including case management, housing navigation, and veteran, healthcare, and employment services, are available to all residents, along with transportation to and from the site.

Homeless navigation centers are called that because they provide support services to help people “navigate” to housing, help, or back home. They are designed to be temporary, low-barrier shelters that help people quickly find permanent housing.
