Juvenile runs away from Orangewood Children’s Home

CRITICAL JUVENILE RUNAWAY FROM ORANGEWOOD CHILDREN’S HOME

ORANGE, California – (May 7, 2014) – On Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at approximately 9:30 a.m. Brittany Georgia Mitchell walked away from the Orangewood Children’s Home with two other juvenile females. Brittany’s juvenile companions returned to the Children’s Home shortly after leaving; however, Brittany did not. She was last seen at the Outlets at Orange (“The Block at Orange”) located across the street from Orangewood Children’s Home. The preliminary information is that Mitchell is known to frequent the Anaheim area.

Anyone with information regarding Mitchell’s location or with information they believe may assist in this investigation is asked to contact the Orange County Sheriff’s Department at (714) 647-7000 OR (714) 936-0763.
