Is crime going up in CA because Gov. Newsom keeps promoting public defenders into judges?

Commercial burglaries in California has reached its highest level since 2008, and the commercial robberies, where criminals are using force, are at the highest level since 2014, according to the Public Policy Institute of California. Attorney Todd Spitzer shared those troubling new statistics regarding the rash of robberies and burglaries across California on KFI’s John and Ken show yesterday. Criminals are getting all the help they need from the California legislature to make these crimes as profitable as possible with little risk of getting caught.

On top of that, Governor Newsom is flooding California courts with new judicial appointments. Guess who he’s selecting? Former public defenders – who now as judges get to decide whether criminals should get a break.
