On July 10, 2023, Huntington Beach Police Department officers responded to a bank robbery. Upon arrival, they were informed that a suspect had entered the bank, demanding money. The suspect escaped with $1,500 in cash and eluded capture during the initial police response.
Subsequently, detectives from the Crimes Against Persons Unit took over the investigation. They successfully identified the suspect through their diligent efforts, and secured a warrant for his arrest.
