TARGET FREE FIRST SUNDAY & FAMILY FESTIVAL

Sunday, March 3, 2013, from 10 AM – 4 PM

Visitors to the Bowers can enjoy free access to the museum, Kidseum, and all activities on the first Sunday of every month, thanks to the Target Corporation. Due to occupancy limits of popular and specially ticketed exhibits, ticket distribution is limited to 1500 tickets per day, 250 per hour on a first-come, first-served basis. All visitors must be present at the time of ticket distribution. Reservations are not accepted. Free to attend.

CELTIC FAMILY FESTIVAL 12 NOON – 3:30 PM

Maragaret and Cleo Key Courtyard

11 AM-3:30 PM: Facepainting, Green Man Mask and Celtic Pendant art projects

12 PM: Bagpipe Perforamance – Forrest Cormany has been playing as a professional bagpiper for more than 20 years.

12:30 PM: Innisfree Irish Band For almost 30 years, Innisfree has been one of the finest Irish bands in Southern California. Although their roots are planted firmly in the Irish pub tradition, the band incorporates plenty of rock, country and folk.

1:30PM: The Butler-Fearon-O’Connor School of Irish Dance is one of the top Irish dance schools in the world.
