ORANGE – The Orange County Transportation Authority wants to make it easier for everyone to get out and vote.
So, all day on Election Day – Tuesday, Nov. 5 – OC Bus rides will be free.
Passengers can ride any regular OC Bus for free that day to any polling place or any destination. No pass required.
“Voting is what keeps our democracy strong and ensures our communities have a say in how they are represented locally, regionally and beyond,” said OCTA Chair Tam T. Nguyen. “OCTA is doing our part to make sure people can get to their polling place safely and comfortably.“
OCTA offers several free bus ride days each year, including every New Year’s Eve. Tens of thousands of passengers have taken advantage of the free rides on those special days. And youth ages 6 to 18 always ride
free now with the Youth Ride Free pass.
