Free graphic design workshops at the Santa Ana Library’s Teen Space

The Santa Ana Public Libraries are hosting free graphic design workshops for young adults, starting everyThursday, as of March 4, at the Newhope branch, from 4 pm to 6 pm.

The Main Library has been hosting these classes every Monday, from  pm to 5:30 pm, since Feb. 1.

This is part of the Santa Ana Public Library Teen Space program.

The workshops will include:

  • How to use a scanner
  • How to use Adobe Photoshop Elements
  • How to edit photographs
  • and how to create posters, collage art pieces and book covers

    Our Editor, Art Pedroza, worked at the O.C. Register and the OC Weekly and studied journalism at CSUF and UCI. He has lived in Santa Ana for over 30 years and has served on several city and county commissions. When he is not writing or editing Pedroza specializes in risk control and occupational safety. He also teaches part time at Cerritos College and CSUF. Pedroza has an MBA from Keller University.
