Two crimes involving the theft of items from smoke shops occured at the end of January and the beginning of February, according to the Tustin Police Department.
In one incident four males broke a glass door and used a saw to cut the security screen which gave them access to a large amount of nicotine products totaling approximately $30,000.
In the second incident 3 masked males entered a smoke shop which was open for business. The suspects held the clerk at gunpoint and stole approximately $5,200 worth of the stores merchandise and the clerk’s personal property. Prior to leaving the store, one of the suspects struck the clerk with a handgun. The suspects fled the scene in a white sedan.
