Felon arrested again after stealing over $40K worth of alcohol from ABC Supermarket in Westminster

Arrest of Interest: On 8/30/2024, police officers responded to a burglary at ABC Supermarket, located at 8970 Bolsa Ave., according to the Westminster Police Department.

After concluding no suspects were on scene, WPD Officers conducted an in depth investigation and determined over $40,000 in loss of high end alcohol had been taken, and obtained leads for a suspect.

The case was submitted to WPD Detectives who quickly identified the suspect. A records check of the suspect revealed he had an outstanding felony warrant from the WPD for felon in possession of a firearm. Additionally, the suspect had discharged parole the day after the burglary.

On 9/6/2024, WPD Detectives conducted surveillance and with the help of patrol, located the suspect in his vehicle in the area of Hazard Avenue and Magnolia Street.

A high risk felony vehicle stop was conducted and the suspect was taken into custody without incident. The suspect was booked at Orange County Jail for burglary and his outstanding felony warrant.
