“EXPLOROCEAN” FEATURED AT JOHN WAYNE AIRPORT

SANTA ANA, Calif. – An exhibition titled “Inspire, Educate, Explore: ExplorOcean,” featuring displays from the Newport Beach-based ExplorOcean is now on display at John Wayne Airport (JWA) through October 2013.

The exhibit features various oceanography education displays, from maritime navigation artifacts to the science behind the ocean to antique ship models in bottles.

“We are thrilled to be selected by John Wayne Airport to showcase one of America’s premier Ocean Literacy Centers to millions of tourists and business travelers!” said Tom Pollack, CEO of ExplorOcean Newport Beach. “Our spectacular waterfront location in Newport Beach’s vibrant Balboa Village Fun Zone is an amazing family destination for tourists seeking a true Southern California ocean experience!”

The display can be viewed in the ORANGE COUNTY: Destination Art & Culture exhibition space, which is located along the pedestrian walkway connecting the Terminal B and C ticketing lobbies and is open to the general public, passengers and visitors to the Airport.
