Over the weekend, a Huntington Beach police officer on proactive patrol observed an unoccupied vehicle with expired registration and partially blocking a traffic lane. Shortly after, two individuals returned to the car.
During the investigation, the police officers located an airsoft pistol inside the vehicle that had been spray-painted black to make it look real, a cordless Sawzall, saw blades, gloves, mask, and car jacks.
The investigation revealed one of the subjects was in possession of burglary tools with intent to commit a theft and he was placed under arrest.
The vehicle was towed for blocking the roadway and expired registration.
