Disneyland will host a Culinary and Hotel Job Fair this Tuesday

Disneyland is hosting a Culinary and Hotel Job Fair this Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Disneyland Hotel-Disneyland South Exhibit Hall, located at 1150 West Magic Way, in Anaheim.

To park from Disneyland Drive turn on West Magic Way and make the second left to check in at Self-Parking at the Disneyland Hotel. Please do not park in Downtown Disney or Theme Park parking.

This job fair will attempt to fill full- and part-time positions in various culinary and hotel staff roles. The resort is looking to hire full-time and part-time spots across the two theme parks, three hotels and the Downtown Disney District.

Job fair attendees will get the chance to meet recruiters and department leaders to ask questions and get more information on what it’s like to be part of the team. Qualified candidates can apply, interview and even accept an offer on site.

People are encouraged to apply online in advance to reserve an appointment. Walk-in appointments will be available during the job fair, and computers will be around for people to complete applications.

Full-time and part-time culinary roles starting wage rates may include:

  • Pantry– $14.30, Effective January 31, 2019 pay rate will increase to $16.20
  • Lodging Order Cook – Rate $16.20, Effective January 31, 2019 pay rate will increase to $16.70
  • Lodging Dinner Cook/Line Cook – Rate $17.60, Effective January 31, 2019 pay rate will increase to $18.10
  • Fine Dining Specialty Cook-$19.25-19.85, Effective January 31, 2019 pay rate will increase to $20.35
  • Pastry Cook/ Baker- $15.80, Effective January 31, 2019 pay rate will increase to $16.30
  • General Food Prep- $12.00

Additional full-time and part-time starting wage rates may include:

  • Laundry-$14.50-$15.30, Effective January 31, 2019 pay rate will increase to $16.25-$17.05
  • Housekeeping-$14.25-$15.80, Effective January 31, 2019 pay rate will increase to $16.00-16.30
  • Parking Services-select roles – $13.25, Effective January 31 select roles will receive an increase to $15.00
  • Steward/Dishwasher-$12.20-$13.95, Effective January 31, 2019 pay rate select roles will receive an increase to $15.70
  • Night Porter-$13.25, Effective January 31, 2019 pay rate will increase to $15.00
  • Hotel Convention Set-up- $14.25, Effective January 31, 2019 pay rate will increase to $16.00
  • Security II-$13.25

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Ability to speak and read English
  • Some roles may require a physical assessment
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Willing to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must meet scheduling availability requirements
  • Some roles require having a valid driver’s license and clean driving record (no tickets/accidents/ or moving violations in the past 12 months)

SCHEDULE AVAILABILTY

Disney’s Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00 am while some may end as late as 3:00 am, 4:00 am or 5:00 am. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.
