Detour for closed intersection at Civic Center Drive and Garfield Street starting on 12/14

Starting at 7 a.m. on Monday, 12/14/20 through Friday, 12/18/20, the intersection of Civic Center Drive and Garfield Street will be completely closed to thru traffic for the “Civic Center Bike Boulevard” project. This closure is required for the paving of the new traffic circle and roadway surface. This project will help enhance pedestrian and bicyclist’s safety and should reduce excessive speeds along Civic Center Drive.

Traffic westbound on Civic Center Drive will be detoured to southbound Poinsettia Street to westbound Santa Ana Blvd. to northbound Minter Street. Eastbound traffic will be detoured to southbound Minter Street to eastbound Santa Ana Blvd. to northbound Poinsettia Street. Please see “Detour for Closed Intersection” Map for details.

Please avoid the area if possible during this time, follow detour signs and expect some delays. Access to businesses and residential properties will be maintained at all times.

We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for understanding.
