Dance instructor allegedly assaulted at a Taco Bell in Irvine asks GoFundMe to take down their page about the incident

A GoFundMe page recently alleged that an instructor at N10 Dance Studios, in Tustin, was the victim of a “senseless attack” in the drive-thru of a Taco Bell in Irvine.

A friend of the dance instructor reached out to us to say that he was upset about the GoFundMe page and has asked GoFundMe to take it down. He has also reached out to us and he said that “The article that you have posted is currently incorrect in multiple details.”

Apparently he is involved in legal proceedings now that have to do with this case. We are honoring his request and deleting the details from our old post as well as the link to the GoFundMe page, which was created by a Santa Ana resident named Chanel Ulrich.

The dance instructor promises that we can discuss his case further after the legal proceedings have closed.

  • Your news story is based on a Go Fund Me posting? No police report? No interview of victim, victim’s friends/family, Taco Bell employee, witnesses, or police? Go Fund Me is not a credible source for news. Do better.

      • While I applaud you bringing this story to light, you inadvertently misled the public with incomplete facts from a non-witness statement (friend), without challenging the veracity or details of the claim. This is the kind of shoddy journalism that gets the media in trouble (or gets a president elected), depending how you look at it. We will await your revised story with clear detail and specifics.
