The Costa Mesa Police Department Special Investigations Unit, in collaboration with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, executed a search warrant at a residence in Costa Mesa targeting a convicted felon suspected of possessing multiple firearms, according to the Costa Mesa Police Department.
During the operation, detectives seized three 3D-printing devices, likely used for manufacturing firearms, over 300 rounds of ammunition, two polymer 80 kits, and two ghost guns (unserialized and untraceable firearms).
The suspect was subsequently arrested for being a felon in possession of firearms and ammunition.
