Gang bangers are not exactly known for being intelligent but one suspect arrested recently in Santa Ana just might be dumber than his peers.
SAPD gang detectives observed a suspicious vehicle that was leaving an area known for an increase in gang activity.
A traffic stop was conducted and during the investigation the police detectives located a firemarm in the vehicle.
The suspect, an adult male, turned out to be a convicted felon and a documented gang member.
The suspect was arrested for firearm-related charges (felons are not allowed to own guns in California) with gang enhancements.
An adult female that was accompanying the unfortunate and not too bright gang member was also arrested as it turned out she had two outstanding bench warrants.
Let’s hope these two did not procreate.
Both suspects were booked at the Santa Ana jail. Unfortunately for them we have an OCDA, Todd Spitzer, who aggresively prosecutes gang members.
Neither of these suspects apparently learned from their past mistakes. They can both look forward to some more time in prison.
