City of Santa Ana
SANTA ANA, CA (September 16, 2014) – The public is invited to attend the City Council Meeting on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 as the Mayor and City Council will recognize Communication Linkage Forum (also known as Com-Link) in honor of their 25th Anniversary.
Com-Link was founded in 1989 when a small group of residents met together with the idea that somehow there should be a way of strengthening communication and engagement among neighborhoods, residents, businesses and city departments.
For 25 years, Com-Link has served as a successful tool for the neighborhoods and the city to work together to improve the quality of life throughout Santa Ana.
The City Council will also recognize community members. Mayor Pro Tem Sal Tinajero will honor three Valley Little League teams for winning their respective championships. Councilmember Angelica Amezcua will honor Iglesia De Dios Pentecostal for their summer school character building program. Councilmember Michele Martinez will recognize Hispanic Heritage Month and Councilmember Roman Reyna will recognize Fire Prevention Week.
Please join the Mayor and City Council in recognizing these outstanding citizens by attending Tuesday’s city council meeting or visit, http://www.santa-ana.org/coc/granicus.asp, to see it streamed live on the web.

Wounder what com link thinks about the murders this week in Santa Ana ...
Well hopefully they will not vote for the Council incumbents in November. Martinez, Benavides and Tinajero need to go!
What a useless organization and waste of tax dollars. These people are relics of days gone by in Santa Ana. Time to say bye bye to Comlink.
Com Link should NOT be subsidized with tax dollars.
The one that's needs to ditch the city is mayor he waste waste of city funds ...remember editor he's a crook and he's being investigated stop sticking by him he's making you bad ....stop putting the blame on the rest and admit guilt....he does nothing for Santa Ana residents absolutely nothing!
