Brazen daytime package thieves arrested in Tustin

Tustin residents were calling in reports about a pair of brazen daytime package thieves, according to the Tustin Police.

The Tustin Police knew the female suspect was assisted by a male who was driving a black Toyota sedan. In response to the numerous reports, the police identified a trend with regard to the suspect’s behavior and their vehicle was located yesterday as it left the city.

Both suspects were promptly arrested and found to have outstanding warrants for drug sales, drug possession, and fraud.

If you recognize this female and believe she is responsible for a package theft, please contact the Tustin Police Department so we may include any unreported thefts in the case which will be submitted to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.

The Tustin Police Department advises that you be aware of the increasing trend of package thefts. Track the delivery of your packages so you are home when they are delivered to your house. Report suspicious activity such as unknown vehicles circling your community or vehicles following delivery trucks.

The Tustin Police Department thanks their vigilant community who quickly submitted numerous videos of the thefts which led to the quick identification and arrest of these porch perpetrators.
