Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Orange Coast is hosting a hiring fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m on Saturday, July 23 to find more than 40 part-time mentors at its club’s locations in Costa Mesa, Irvine, Newport Beach, Orange and Santa Ana.
The primary responsibility of a mentor is to provide a safe after-school experience for participating youth by providing homework assistance and fitness programs. The hourly wage ranges from $16 to $19.
The job fair will take place at the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Ana at 950 West Highland St.

Applicants must be 18 years or older, be a high school graduate with a minimum of 20 college units and must be available from 2-6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The nonprofit is offering its job candidates a $500 sign-on bonus.
