Robert Vavra, world acclaimed photographer and author of 37 books accounting for over 3 million copies sold in 8 languages, presents his most recent work which culminates 17 years of preparation.
Remembering Africa includes experiences with Jane Goodall, Peter Matthiessen, Paul Theroux, Nobel Prize winner Doris Lessing, Sir Wilfred Thesiger (described by National Geographic as the most important land explorer of the last century), adventures with the Maasai people and more. His film work includes Lawrence of Arabia, Patton and The Horse Whisperer, and he is considered to be the world’s premier photographer of horses. He has had over 100 one-man gallery and museum shows in American and Europe.
Auditorium doors will open at 1 PM; Book signing follows the lecture
Free to members and with paid admission; $8 single ticket; First come- first served general admission seating
