Two armed-robbery suspects, Mondher Arredondo, 33, and Angellia Lopez, 24, were arrested Monday morning, June 11, after leading police on a chase from Garden Grove to Los Angeles County, according to the O.C. Register.
The Garden Grove police were contacted at about 12:30 a.m. about an armed robbery near Harbor Blvd. and Quatro Ave. When the officers arrived at the scene they ended up pursuing the suspects as they fled in their vehicle onto the Westbound 22 Freeway then onto the I-405.
The police officers pursued the suspects into L.A. County then the CHP took over the pursuit. The suspects’ vehicle finally stopped at about 71st and Figueroa streets.
The two suspects tried to run from the vehicle but the police were able to quickly arrest them.
The Garden Grove police requested that anyone with more information about the robber or the suspects call them at 714-741-5800.
