Residents and local nonprofits in Santa Ana are encouraged to apply to the Environmental Justice (EJ) Action Committee. This committee will develop continuous engagement for disadvantaged environmental justice communities and host quarterly meetings with local stakeholders to guide and evaluate environmental justice policy implementation.
Note that you must reside in an Environmental Justice/Disadvantaged area community. Refer to the Disadvantaged Communities and Neighborhood Locator map if you are not sure if you reside within that area.
This is part of the City of Santa Ana General Plan and aligns with the Environmental Justice policy implementation. Applications will be accepted until Monday, September 18, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. The City will review applications and select the resident representatives in early October 2023.
