The Rafferty mixed-use luxury apartment development in downtown Santa Ana is now accepting applications for affordable housing units. The Rafferty has 220 residential units, including 11 affordable units that have been set aside for Very Low-income families at 50% of median income or below. The affordable units consist of 3 studios, 4 one-bedrooms and 4 two-bedrooms. The application waitlist opened today, January 4, 2024, and will stay open until January 19, 2024. Preference for affordable units will be given to applicants who live or work in Santa Ana.

The seven-story Rafferty at 401 N. Main St. offers a range of amenities for residents to enjoy, featuring upscale flooring in living areas, stylish kitchens, and in-unit laundry facilities. Residents are also provided access to a pool deck complete with cabanas and shade umbrellas, a coworking studio featuring both private and communal work spaces, as well as various outdoor and indoor entertainment areas.

One-bedroom (rent $1,278 per month)

Two-bedroom (rent $1,438 per month)

  • 1 Person Household: $43,140 – $50,250
  • 2 Person Household: $43,140 – $57,400
  • 3 Person Household: $43,140 – $64,600
  • 4 Person Household: $43,140 – $71,750
  • 5 Person Household: $43,140 – $77,500
