On Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 11:51 PM, Santa Ana Police Communications received a report of shots fired at 310 W. 5th Street. Officers responded and located a male down suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to his upper torso.
Orange County Fire Authority arrived on scene and pronounced the victim deceased. The victim was identified as Pablo De Jesus Lopez (32) of Pacoima, Ca.
The circumstances or motive surrounding the male’s death are currently being investigated.
Detectives are attempting to identify and locate any witnesses who can shed light on this incident.
