Anaheim added the new sport of FootGolf to their Mtz, at the Dad Miller Golf Course in May, and it has since then generated $7,000 from fees. Officials expect revenues to increase to $25,000 next year, according to the O.C. Register.
What exactly is footgolf? FootGolf is a combination of the popular sports of soccer and golf. The game is played with a regulation #5 soccer ball at a golf course facility on shortened holes with 21-inch diameter cups. The rules largely correspond to the rules of golf.

You have to wonder why the City of Santa Ana has not looked at adding this exciting new sport to our city, particularly at the Willowick Golf Course.
