WESTMINSTER, Calif. – On 06/29/2023, at around 8:33 PM, Westminster officers were dispatched to the 7000 block of 21st St. in reference to a shots fired call.
The police officers located a 14-year-old victim at the scene who had sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the wrist. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Witnesses on scene described hearing four to five gunshots, possibly emanating from an unknown vehicle that fled the scene at a high rate of speed.
The incident is currently being investigated by the Westminster Police Department’s Detective Bureau.
