A fire broke out early this morning, at 3:54 a.m., at a home located at the 1000 block of N. Freeman St., in Santa Ana’s Washington Square neighborhood, according to the O.C. Register.
The home was destroyed in the blaze.
Twenty firefighters were involved in putting out the fire. It toot them 39 minutes to knock down the flames.
Apparently the fire began in the home’s attic. It was difficult to reach due to the concealed spaces in the attic.
The OCFA is investigating the cause of the fire.
The familly was evacuated and no injuries were reported.
