The Irvine Police Department received reports of a shooting in the area of Athel Avenue and Sego Street yesterday, at 12:37 p.m.
When the responding police officers arrived, they found a man with gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
There are two involved vehicles, and it is believed there was only one shooter. The victim has been identified as Nicholas Alistair Neaimi-Pour, 19, of Costa Mesa.
