WESTMINSTER, Calif. -On Thursday, July 11, 2024, at about 12:09 PM, L.A. IMPACT police detectives received information that a suspected burglary group was preparing to burglarize a residence at the 16000 block of Galaxy Drive, in Westminster.
L.A. IMPACT requested assistance from the Westminster Police Department to stop the suspect vehicle associated with the group.
Once the L.A. Detectives confirmed the suspects had just committed the burglary, they folowed the suspect vehicle to the area of the 405 freeway and Beach Boulevard.
Westminster PD Officers arrived in the Beach Boulevard and McFadden Avenue area and located the suspect vehicle. Westminster PD Officers attempted a traffic stop, but the vehicle failed to yield, and a short pursuit ensued.
A minor traffic collision occurred in the area of Bushard Street and Heil Avenue, in the city of Fountain Valley. Four suspects sustained minor injuries and were transported to local hospitals. Another motorist involved was taken to a local hospital for precautionary reasons.
With the assistance of several detectives, officers, and air support from the Anaheim Police Department, four adult male suspects were taken into custody. Currently, the exact identification of the four suspects is unknown and pending. The suspects will be booked for the below charges at the Orange County Jail.
This burglary crew is suspected of being involved in multiple residential burglaries in the area. Detectives are currently sifting through several items inside the vehicle and trying to identify other possible victims.
