On Thursday, May 2, 2024, at 4:27 p.m., Santa Ana Police Department Communications received a call from a female who reported that her boyfriend stabbed her and her uncle, according to the SAPD.
Officers responded to a business unit in the 1200 block of E. Chestnut Avenue and located a female adult and two male adults suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to their upper torso.
Orange County Fire Authority arrived and pronounced the female and one of the males deceased. The surviving male was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
Homicide Detectives are currently investigating the incident, and though at the early stages, believe this was a possible murder-suicide.
The Orange County Coroner’s Office is working to determine the identity of the decedents, while detectives are attempting to identify the surviving male.
