The O.C. Health Care Agency has released a list of the eateries (including restaurants, caterers and even school kitchens) that they inspected and shut down for the week of Nov. 4 to Nov. 12. Most of these eateries reopen pretty quickly after the health inspectors determine their issues have been resolved.

  • California Pizza Kitchen at MainPlace Mall, 2800 N. Main St., Suite 872, Santa Ana, Closed: Nov. 5, Reason: Rodent infestation
  • Pho Saigon Pearl, 1835 Newport Blvd., Suite D-154, Costa Mesa, Closed: Nov. 10, Reason: Rodent infestation, Reopened: Nov. 10
  • Chang’an, 13051 Newport Ave., Tustin, Closed: Nov. 10, Reason: Rodent infestation, Reopened: Nov. 10
  • Van Hoi Xuan, 9110 Bolsa Ave., Westminster, Closed: Nov. 9, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Nov. 12, Reopened: Nov. 5
  • Food sales at Five Below, 586 N. Euclid St., Anaheim, Closed: Nov. 3, Reason: Rodent infestation, Reopened: Nov. 8
  • Update: Harry’s Cafe at 8461 Katella Ave., Stanton, which was ordered closed Nov. 2 because of a cockroach infestation, was allowed to reopen Nov. 8.
  • Update: Food sales at Walgreens, 27982 La Paz Road, Laguna Niguel, which were suspended Nov. 1 because of a rodent infestation, were allowed to resume Nov. 8.
