The  Santa Ana Unified School District Board of Education candidates will be appearing at a candidates forum on Oct. 6, 2016, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Latino Health Access, located at 450 W 4th St., in Santa Ana.

Learn how they will:

– Invest in youth
– Use local control and accountability plan (LCAP) funds
– Improve school climate
– Support restorative justice

    1. I believe that Mendoza, Rodriguez and Iglesias have young kids that are in school. Not sure about Alvarez. He might. McLoughlin does not have young kids. Nor does Bauer. Cano just graduated a few years ago and has siblings in the district.

  1. Bauer, scares the shit out of me, politically. WHY IN THE WORLD does this guy need to chime in on the future of Santa Ana students? Rob Richardson II.

    1. I think Rob endorsed Rigo. But Rigo does at least have kids in the district. And he is a teacher.

      I do know Bauer very well. He is a good guy. Pretty liberal. I think Palacio recruited him to split the white vote and sink McLoughlin.
