Last night another attempt murder shooting occurred at 1401 West St. Gertrude, in Santa Ana. An adult male (27 years of age) was standing in front of his residence when a vehicle drove by and fired several times striking the victim.

Incredibly, the victim drove himself to a hospital where he was then transported to another hospital’s trauma center where he is currently listed in stable condition.

SAPD investigators recovered shell casings at the scene, according to the O.C. Register.

The victim is expected to survive.

No description of the suspects has been made available yet by the police.

The City Council keeps telling us that crime is going down but the evidence proves otherwise as the bullets keep flying in our city!

This shooting happened near the corner of W. St. Gertrude and S. Bristol St., in Santa Ana’s Ward 2, which is represented by Council Member Michele Martinez.
