Santa Ana Gang Shooting

Yet another drive-by shooting happened in Santa Ana early today, just after 2 a.m., at the 4600 block of West Melric Drive, according to the O.C. Register.

Two men and a boy were wounded by the attack, which took place just north of Heritage Elementary School and Heritage Park.  

The boy and of the men were shot in the abdomen and the other male victim was shot in a leg and arm. The three victims ended up at a local hospital and are said to be in stable condition.

The shots were fired from a blue Honda Pilot that fled the scene.  The SAPD is investigating.

None of the names of the victims were released by the SAPD.

This shooting occurred in Santa Ana’s Ward 6, which is represented by Santa Ana Councilman Sal Tinajero, who lives in a gated community in the South Coast area.
